Summer Deep Sea Fishing

Summer is finally here, and the fish are biting like crazy. Winds are south/southeast at 5-10 knots with about 1-2 foot seas, and the water temp is between 80-85 degrees. Everything from bonitas, king fish, mutton snappers, mangrove snappers, blackfin tunas and red grouper are finding our lines.

This time of year is mangrove snapper spawning season, so as dusk rolls in the mangrove snappers and yellowtails gather. It is as active as ever and our lines are barely in the water before we reel it back in with a 1-5 pound yellowtail or snapper on the end of it. If it is a full moon during spawning season, buckle up! The night will be spectacular!

During the day we are using ballyhoos, sardines, and squid for bait and at night we are reeling them in with ballyhoos and pilchards. All the bait we use is pretty versatile and is catching us some mega action. Whether you are an experienced fisherman or not, we have everything you need for your greatest catch yet.
